In order to add additional UPS accounts in StarShip, you must first have properly commissioned with your Primary Account. Follow these instructions to create additional UPS accounts in StarShip.
If you have not already done so, select Carriers > UPS > Accounts.
Click the New button.
Type in the code you received from V-Technologies to unlock this account. Click Next.
Type in the Company Information associated with this account. Click Next
(Optional) On this dialog, you may create a Sender record to associate with this account and which can be selected from the StarShip Shipping window while you are processing shipments. If you do not wish to create a Sender record now, you can check the "Skip this step, don not create the Sender entry now." option. If you would like to create a Sender record now, type the Sender information into the provided fields. Note that the only required field is the Sender ID. Click Next.
Enter the Next Barcode Reference Number for assigning a tracking number to a shipment. Click Finish.
The request to add the UPS account is sent to UPS.
If successful, the account appears in Accounts list.
Notes:
It may take at least 4 hours or more for the Mailbox Status of secondary UPS accounts to appear as "Ready" on the Accounts tab.
You can edit or delete secondary UPS Accounts using the buttons on the Accounts tab. Modifications may include adjusting the Primary Address or changing the Next Barcode Reference Number.
