StarShip is a complete shipping solution that supports multiple carriers in one user interface while storing shipment history in a central location. You can rate shop between available carriers while shipping to find the most economical way to ship your packages. StarShip also supports Third Party Insurance and prints carrier-approved bar coded shipping labels and COD tags.
StarShip for Sage MAS 90 and MAS 200 provides a unique, real-time interface between StarShip and MAS 90 and MAS 200 that not only reduces the number of steps required to process orders, but also provides easy access to complete shipment history.
StarShip's Shipping window runs from within the MAS 90 or MAS 200 Shipping Data Entry function in the Sales Order module. This function allows shippers to define the quantities being shipped or back-ordered, and assign the line items within multiple cartons. The shipper then clicks the StarShip button to weigh the boxes. StarShip automatically calculates the freight charges, assigns tracking numbers, prints the labels, and sends the freight and tracking information back to the order. You can print the pick lists and/or invoice when the shipment is saved from the Shipping Data Entry screen.
Once the invoice is posted, the package contents and tracking information are available at any time from within MAS 90 and MAS 200 (in the Shipping History Inquiry function or Accounts Receivable module). Your Customer Service representatives will always know exactly what was shipped, when and how it shipped, and can track those packages instantly!
