StarShip™ is officially certified by UPS as being UPS OnLine Compatible. Being electronically connected to UPS streamlines your shipping process and gives you more options than ever before.



Oversize 3 (OS3)
StarShip supports rating and billing of OS3 packages. For complete information on how OS3 is calculated, visit: StarShip UPS WebHelp.

Authorized Return Service (ARS)
StarShip currently supports Return Plus services including: "3 pickup attempts" and "1 pickup attempt". StarShip gives you better control over returns by supporting these additional options:

• Print Return Label
• Print and Mail Return Label
• Electronic Return Label





StarShip Features:
Automatically rate shops between standard and Hundredweight as shipments are processed and during end of day closeout. This insures that you get the best rate.

Prints bar coded shipping labels and COD tags (including MaxiCode), and the bar coded Summary Label for the UPS driver to scan.

Labels and tags can easily be customized to your needs. StarShip also prints standard or user-definable reports to analyze shipment history by customer, carrier, department, etc.

Saturday Delivery, Collect on Delivery (C.O.D.), Delivery Confirmation, Delivery Confirmation Signature Required (DCSR), Delivery Confirmation Adult Signature Required (DCASR), Excess Value Insurance, Hazardous Materials, Hundredweight Service®, Authorize Return Service, Returns Plus, Verbal Confirmation of Delivery and Ship Notification.

MULTI-ACCOUNT
The Multi-Account option gives you the ability to ship against multiple UPS accounts from the StarShip ship screen eliminating the need for multiple installations of StarShip.

HAZMAT Option
This enhancement allows StarShip to interface to the Masterform software by Labelmaster. The HazMat option includes:





•  1 seat license of Masterform software (by Labelmaster). This includes 1 year of maintenance, end-user training, and basic Tier 1 Tech support.


•  StarShip interface to the Masterform software.

GET THE BENEFITS OF ELECTRONICALLY CONNECTING WITH UPS!

Paperless Shipping -
Electronic manifesting eliminates much of the time spent manually processing shipments. Processing of call tags and using delivery confirmation no longer require additional paperwork. Package detail is uploaded directly from your pc to the UPS Data Center.

Tracking -
Track packages directly from StarShip to quickly respond to customer inquiries. StarShip can also track packages in the background so the latest information is always available.

Shipments can be referenced by alternate information such as PO Number. This allows your consignees to track a package on their own. When using an accounting interface, StarShip can pull reference information directly from your orders!


Ship Notification -
This option allows your consignee to automatically receive a fax or email with important information such as ship date, scheduled delivery date, reference numbers and merchandise description. Email notification allows you to answer shipment questions before the consignee calls.

Automated Billing Options -
Consignee billing, bill 3rd party, bill recipient, etc. no longer require documentation.

DHL to end U.S. Domestic-only services on January 30, 2009 StarShip will continue to support DHL International services. Effective January 30th, DHL domestic-only air and ground services will be discontinued.
